Abstract

The theory of multiple intelligence is given by Gardner offered a cognitive view point on intelligence which has insightful educational implication in general and in particular, it has led to the use of eight MI theory to the language teaching and learning. The fundamental idea behind multiple intelligence activities is that student learns by using diverse sorts of intelligence for learning the language. MI activities are helpful for language teaching and learning in a multiple of situations and contexts. The most significant feature of using multiple intelligence activities in the language classroom is that teacher will help to students who may face difficulties in learning more traditional language learning activities. This study is attempted to explore the role of multiple intelligence in learning English language and emphasis to designing activities for teaching English language skills. The nature of this study is the qualitative approach of research.
