Old age is often a second childhood. The old granny had no desires except for her taste buds and no support other than wailing and attracting towards her miseries. All the nerves, eyes, hands and legs had given up. She would lie on the earth and cry whenever anyone in the house talked of something not favorable to her wishes, or if the supper was delayed or if its purpose was not fulfilled or even if she did not get anything brought from market. And she would not just sob, she would scream at the top of her voice.
