ABSTRACT

 

The novel Ladie’s coupe written by Anita Nair and  The Edible women by Margaret Atwood written on basis of feminism.

The novel Ladie’s coupe Anita Nair speaks about the equality of sexes in which the women got sufferings through out their life.This novel unravels the misinterpretation about the role of women in contemporary post-colonial feminist literature.

The Edible women portrays Atwood’s strong disapproval of the negative identity which emerges from the self destructive survival myth.
