This paper addresses to all the EFL learners and teachers who feels handicap in learning and teaching of this language. It is a motivation for the rural teachers and learners who lack resources such as smart classrooms and laptops. Learning a second language is most strenuous task for Indian students belonging to the rural background/ areas. Language includes the understanding of words, structure, grammar and its sounds. The structure, words and sounds of a language is different from the other language. There are few similarities between the languages but it is not utterly the same. The students can learn the second language effectively if the conducive environment is provided to the learner. Learning a foreign language is not difficult if it is taught by using simple print media. The print media like Newspaper and Magazines can contribute a lot in understanding the nature and style of the foreign language. The four skills of a language can be master with the help of these cheap equipment’s. Newspapers and Magazines can be effectively used by the teachers to teach the EFL. Teachers can radically transform their boring method in an effective teaching learning process. These tools are cheap, accessible and easy to handle. We can improve the learning of a foreign language easy for the learners of students whose native language is not English. Paper outlines how newspapers and magazines can be used to teach in English language classrooms.
