Abstract

This work emphasizes the reality of life with the three most important intangible parts of life – love, hope and destiny. Everyone face ups and downs throughout their life with some sunshine’s of belief. And it’s also about a women protagonist whose image is revealed with westernization and mixed up emotions between love and affection. Her image is portrayed in all phases and shadows of life.

 

English literature has reckoned many greatest literary masters, admired for their originality, excellent characterization, impressive presentation, superb story- building abilities, sparking imagination, reveals social concern, down to earth themes, etc.  There are many periods in English literature such as Victorian era, Elizabethan era, etc. One among them is “contemporary period” which reflects current trends in life and culture, these things change often, contemporary literature changes as well. It reflects the author’s perspective and can come across as cynical. It emphasizes the crossing of old boundaries and represents migration and immigration as a fundamental human experience.  Contemporary period includes reality based stories with strong characters and a believable story
