Abstract

The paper investigates Exile and Expatriate in Kamala Markandaya novel, Some Inner Fury, and it links with the genres such as dislocation, survival, cultural change and identity.

The research aims to compare and find resemblances and differences in the evaluation of moral categories.  In order to achieve this aim:

-    Shows Exile and Expatriate in diaspora writing;

-    To clarify similarities of characters between author and Mirabai;

-    To prove the genre like dislocation, survival, cultural change and identity link with exile

and expatriate in Markandaya novel “Some Inner Furyâ€;

The research tries to explore the light on exile and expatriate in Markandaya novel, Some Inner Fury and also to the modern literature.
