AbstractSherman Alexie is one of the outstanding literary figures among the contemporary Native American writers. He belongs to the Native American Renaissance which began after the publication of N. Scott Momaday’s magnum opus, House Made of Dawn which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1969. He is the winner of the National Book Award.
