Smart Moves Publication invites authors and editors to contribute to our upcoming edited books. We welcome original, unpublished book chapters as well as proposals from editors for new book projects.

 

While our current theme is:

Women’s Voices in Indian English Literature

—we are not confined to a single theme. Authors and editors may also suggest alternative themes relevant to literature, language, cultural studies, or interdisciplinary areas.

 

Suggested Topics for Current Theme

  • Feminist readings in Indian English literature

  • Gender identity and resistance narratives

  • Works of Kamala Das, Arundhati Roy, Jhumpa Lahiri, Anita Desai, Shobhaa De, and other contemporary women writers

  • Comparative studies, archival recoveries, and innovative theoretical perspectives
