Abstract

This paper is to examine the impact pilgrimages, rituals and spiritual festivals upon commodification of faith. Further, the method of commodification has set up the modernization and growing capitalism shall be examined. As Asian country is liberalizing and globalizing its economy, the country is experiencing an increase in religious market. There’s a pulse in fashionable devoutness among the plenty as is clear from a boom in journeying and invention of latest and a lot of ostentatious rituals.
