Approaches to Develop Reading Skills

Abstract

The skill to read in a language is one of the most important skills required for everyone.  This skill, is considered to be a skill which is the most difficult one to develop to a high level of expertise. It is worth noting that the central purpose of reading is to comprehend the text. It is sometimes said that if meaning is to be developed from the text, reading must be primarily a reasoning activity. Reading is a receptive skill. It is generally believed that the more one reads, the more he can better in writing.
