Abstract

Education is a comprehensive term. As we have seen, education is bound up with human race. Its boundaries are as rich and varied as life itself. Its meaning is as wide as life itself. The development of an individual or the nation mainly depends up on the educational system. There was opposition towards the English medium of education even before and after independence. Many argued and selected mother tongue medium of education for the nation’s development but according to changing situation the education in English medium is playing a vital role in each and every aspect of development of the nations. In this regard even the government is moving towards English as a medium of instruction to develop the individual and meet the needs of the country
