Using Multimedia in Language Acquisition Classroom: An Exploratory Study

Abstract

Advancement in language has occurred because of the verbal play of words, act of promoting technological innovations etc. Teaching as well as learning weighs equal which holds on the same ground -Education. Thus, in both these components latest technologies such as computers, Internet, Electronic books, Emails and mobile phones play a vital role. More specifically, computer technology and internet are compulsively used by each and every one all over the world regardless of any distinctions. Because of these inventions people belonging to all genre gets the opportunity to seek the pleasures of learning and also, they themselves will turn out as a worthy human being with a thoughtful mind, wider vision and concrete ideas.

The aim of the present paper is to examine the perspectives which have direct application in our context. The major implication of the paper is to examine the present academic scene in English teaching.
